McLean, VA, Oct. 18, 2016 – Trowbridge & Trowbridge, LLC Senior Vice President for Strategy and Development, Gregg Melanson, was the Key Note Speaker at the GovCon Strategic Study Breakfast held September 20 in Tysons Corner Virginia. The event focused on utilizing business process automation to help increase efficiency within a contracting organization.
The Key Note address and subsequent panel discussion provided attendees with possible opportunities for automating time-consuming processes and making faster, data-driven decisions. Trowbridge President and CEO, Karen Trowbridge said, “We’ve learned a great deal in our evolution as a company and we believe it’s important to share some of our insights with other growing businesses.”
The majority of discussion was related to assessing contract vehicles, calculating win probabilities, and aligning proposal gate reviews in the public sector marketplace. The event was sponsored by TechnoMile.
Melanson spoke on his experience in the federal space, and how the utilization of tools such as Salesforce have contributed to the success and evolution of Trowbridge, particularly in the areas of business development and proposal development. “The speed at which bid decisions must be made by growing businesses in the public sector is accelerating and so must our processes,” said Melanson. “Automation tools are increasingly critical and quickly becoming an inherent enabling component.”
